First Regional Symposium on Carbon Management

The Organizing Committee for the First Regional Symposium on Carbon Management is honored to invite you to Shaybah Oil Field.

Shaybah oil field is Located in the middle of a vast desert “The Empty Quarter,” and boasts significant oil reserves and a total production increment of hundreds of thousands of oil barrels per day. It stands as a shining testament of Saudi Aramco’s dedication to providing energy to the world.

You don’t want to leave Saudi Arabia without witnessing the wonders of Shaybah firsthand. In addition to visiting the Saudi Aramco facilities, you will get a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to experience the unique environment of an Arabian desert with its magnificent red sand dunes; some towering hundreds of feet in the sky.

Interested delegates will fly aboard Saudi Aramco’s airplane to the Shaybah field on May 25th, 2006 and will return in the evening of the same day after witnessing a breath taking sun set over the sand dunes.

To enable us to plan adequately, please indicate your interest and register for the trip no later than April 30th, 2006. There will be no charges for joining the trip.

To register, please kindly contact Mohammed A. Khan at:
mohammed.khan.10@aramco.com.

Please note that seats are limited so we will go by first come first serve basis. We look forward to sharing with you this extraordinary experience.
