Committee for the First Regional Symposium on Carbon Management is honored to invite you to Shaybah Oil Field.
Shaybah oil field is Located in the middle of a vast desert “The
Empty Quarter,” and boasts significant oil reserves and
a total production increment of hundreds of thousands of oil
barrels per day. It stands as a shining testament of Saudi Aramco’s
dedication to providing energy to the world.
You don’t want to leave Saudi Arabia without witnessing
the wonders of Shaybah firsthand. In addition to visiting the
Saudi Aramco facilities, you will get a once-in-a lifetime opportunity
to experience the unique environment of an Arabian desert with
its magnificent red sand dunes; some towering hundreds of feet
in the sky.
Interested delegates will fly aboard Saudi Aramco’s airplane
to the Shaybah field on May 25th, 2006 and will return in the
evening of the same day after witnessing a breath taking sun
set over the sand dunes.
To enable us to plan adequately, please
indicate your interest and register for the trip no later than
April 30th, 2006. There will be no charges for joining the
trip.
